Flower Power: Hippie Sailors reminds us that even in turbulent times, beauty can be an act of resistance. Sailors, like Carnival masqueraders, are wanderers, storytellers, boundary-crossers. The sea, like freedom, belongs to those brave enough to pursue it. In 2027, we set sail not for war, but for wonder. Not for conquest, but for connection. Not just to cross waters but to cross worlds.

And as we move through the streets, we declare:

Last Carnival, our independent debut earned 4th Place – Best Monday Mas (Small).

We're building on that journey.

Introducing Monday Wear looks from "Make Mas, Not War" – a capsule collection of a kimono, ponchos, and halter top inspired by the free-spirited fashion of the Flower Power movement.

In the 1960s and 70s, hippies embraced these loose, flowing silhouettes as symbols of individuality, creativity, peace and self-expression. Worn open and relaxed over everyday clothing, they reflected a generation that challenged convention and celebrated freedom. We've reimagined that same spirit for the Carnival road, blending it with the heritage of Traditional Sailor Mas.

ONE option is included with every registration. With a pair of white shorts or bell bell-bottoms available as an optional add-on.

Whether you choose a kimono, poncho or halter top, Monday is your chance to make your first statement before we take to the road on Tuesday.

Because Monday isn't just the beginning of Carnival.

It's where the journey begins.
