Last year, many of you met us through Sailors Aboard, created proudly in collaboration with Republic Bank Exodus Steel Orchestra. 

 

This year marks a new chapter.

 

For the first time, we are stepping forward independently as Joki One x East Yard, producing and leading our own small band, spearheaded by Walda George-Waithe of Joki One and Kevon Gareth Foderingham of East Yard Enterprises.

 

This leap is deeply personal and incredibly meaningful. Your decision to support, and trust us with your Carnival experience in 2026 is not taken lightly. Thank you for believing in the vision, the craftsmanship, and the spirit behind Sailors in Denim.

 

We are honoured to carry you on the road this Carnival and we promise to give you nothing less than care, creativity, and performance.

We pride ourselves as purveyors of Sailor Mas but set ourselves apart by offering a reimagined take on the traditional costumes. We do this with fashion-forward, contemporary, sailor-inspired costumes that can be worn as everyday garments after the parade.

In 2025, our collaborative presentation with Republic Bank Exoduc Steel Orchestra, "Sailors Aboard" was awarded:
